Ke$ha Ft 3OH!3 - Blah Blah Blah (Music Video Review)

Ke$ha’s Tik Tok was her massive debut. But how about Blah Blah Blah? It was kind of surprising when she sang “ Just show me where your dick’s at”. This phrase will be remembered by everyone who has listened to this particular song. Blah Blah Blah featuring 3OH!3 was written by Ke$ha herself together with Benjamin Levin, Neon Hitch and Sean Foreman. The song was produced by Benny Blanco and was released to the public in January 2010.

Her music video was about numbers of people are talking without knowing how to stop. She got real irritated and snapped. Taking Tik Tok music video as comparison, both shares about the same similarities which clubs and people. However, her heavily auto tuned voice is able to make one slamming the laptop or radio shut. And there are parts where she jumps inhumanly high. Wonder what is she trying to prove? Nobody knows.

As horrible as it may sound, her song still gets to one’s head rather easily making him humming the tune all day long. Ke$ha who tries to portray her party nature into her songs is a brilliant idea. Both videos look great, she looks cute in both. However in Tik Tok, somebody labelled her as the drunken Taylor Swift and some said that she looks like a guy in Blah Blah Blah. 3OH!3’s appearance makes the song somehow a little bit better. Could hardly blend in but it is still a nice try from them.

Ke$ha has made her appearances in famous artistes’ videos or songs, before she became famous. She appeared in:

You Spin Me Round by Flo Rida – she was a background singer and has asked to be remained anonymous. Nobody knows it was her until she started to become famous.

I Kissed A Girl by Kate Perry – have a closer look at the video, and you will be able to see Ke$ha in the background in several scenes. At that time, Kate Perry was not famous yet and Ke$ha was broke. So she did not gain much from appearing in Kate Perry’s video.

Leather and Lace by Britney Spears – Ke$ha was the backup singer, hardly noticeable.

Nothing In This World by Paris Hilton – Ke$ha once again sings the background vocals.

The Simple Life Season 2 – Paris and Nicole visited the family when Ke$ha was staying with her mother in Tennesse. Ke$ha claimed that Nicole almost ruined her music career by hanging up on Dr. Luke who gave her a call.

Ke$ha VS Lady Gaga

A lot of comparisons have been made between Ke$ha and Lady Gaga. It is obvious that Lady Gaga is a much better performer and singer although she is excessively dressed up. Comparing Blah Blah Blah music video with Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, Blah Blah Blah hardly stands a place and not worth to be compared at all. Blah Blah Blah and Tik Tok however have an addictive beat that makes everyone on the dance floor goes high. And indeed these two songs are famous in clubs, as expected.
