Bob Sinclar & Sahara ft. Shaggy – I Wanna (Music Video Review)

30A video can be used for a political message. Lyrics can be used to spread an agenda. The music can be revolutionary and industry-changing. The video and song for “I Wanna” by Bob Sinclar featuring Shaggy and Sahara are none of these things, and is actually a breath of fresh air. Simply put; “I Wanna” is fun.

The entire video is shot inside of a club and on the coast — the two perfect settings for Sinclar’s newest track. The producer and DJ creates an electric song that makes you want to get up and dance. The video, however, makes you want to stay seated because there is just so much raw sexual emotion to look at.

The club is filled with hot women with big fake breasts. The main attraction is Sahara, who only adds hypnotic steaminess to the video, and this is by no means a bad thing — especially for male viewers.

Ass

The saying, “Men want to be me, and women want to be with me” seems to be the motto for this entire vision. Men truly want to be Shaggy in this video, and it seems that women want to be with him.

The simplistic chorus, sung over and over again, only adds to the sexual tension in the club.

“I wanna feel I wanna hold I wanna touch your body
I wanna give you all my tending loving tonight
I wanna feel I wanna hold I wanna touch your body
And show you sweet love and hold you real tight.”

Adding to the fun of the video, Sinclar cameos in the video as a limo driver, a bartender, and the janitor cleaning up afterwards — echoing the dilemma of any club DJ; a spectator of sweaty grinding on the dance floor, but not allowed to participate.

Sinclar probably has no problem providing the soundtrack to the hedonistic theater playing out in front of him, and “I Wanna” will definitely be one track that will just add to the sexual emotion that any club is looking for.
