Whitney Houston Defends Bad Performances
She's been the center of much controversy throughout the years, and although she made a minor comeback, it continues. Whitney Houston is now being criticized for recent concerts, mainly her two hour concert in Australia this past week, where she was said to have been struggling to catch her breath and coughing. One of her tour promoters, Andrew McManus, had immediately jumped to her defense, pointing out the obvious of how she's not as young as she was anymore. He also saw the show as not her best, but certainly not her worst, also stating that he was surprised of the fans disappointment because of the amount of effort she actually put into the gig.
Even at her show in Sydney, she was criticized, being said to have held it together for the first hour, but quickly falling apart after. Whitney and her reps claim that she is in great health, but concert goers and fans think otherwise. Her tour in Australia is planned to end in Perth on March 7th, and fans hope the singers performance can improve at least during these last few shows. Weird, though, how she can be visibly screwing up in front of concert attendees, but there are no statements on her having health problems. It could just be from years of prolonged drug abuse, but who knows? The only clear thing is she that she needs to clean up her act at least to the point of where her fans won't notice as much as they do now. Whitney herself is having fun on this current tour but that is no indication that people are actually enjoying it, so unless there's some sort of health reason or something of that sort, they can't really defend the quality of her recent shows. Whatever the reason for the bad performances, she now knows that she needs to improve.
