Gorillaz Turn Down Katy Perry Collaboration

Katy Perry is known and loved widely for her wild party girl music hits, which are played at pretty much every bar and club around; but we now know of some people who she is not popular with; the Gorillaz.

The animated group recently turned down a proposed collaboration from the singer, simply because she is dating Russell Brand (LOL); which was claimed by bassist of the band, Murdoc Niccals. “Katy Perry…she’s been after a guest spot for ages and I tried to turn her down. No, I couldn’t work with the woman while she’s got Russell Brand all over her.” said Murdoc to BBC 6 Music. He continued to say that he “wouldn’t invite anyone that I didn’t admire”, making it well known of his disapproval of the singer and her boy-toy.

It’s excellent to know such a great band could find Russell Brand as annoying as the rest of us do. Sorry Katy.
