Lloyd Cheats on Young Money, Signs With Interscope

Although he’s known for having a close working relationship with everyone at Young Money, Lloyd has chosen to sign to Interscope Records instead.

Since his hit song “Bedrock”, featured on Young Money’s “We Are Young Money” debut, people took it as a sign that the singer was about to join up with the team and continue making hits, but according to Lloyd, he wanted to try a new label. Lloyd stated the following to MTV.com: “The problem is that Young Money/Cash Money is exclusive to Universal/Motown. As you and I know that’s where I did my last two albums. I wasn’t excited about going back.”

Lloyd then went on to praise his new friends over at Interscope, stating “I love the way Interscope gets down.” … your bank account? … your career? Kidding of course =) But we will see where this goes.
