Ludacris Tops The Billbard charts

Ludacris’ new album Battle of the Sexes is a Billboard chart topper, selling 137,000 copies so far, and being the rappers 3rd album to debut at number one.
Rapper Ludacris has always been known for his catchy hit songs and albums, so fans must have been waiting to hear his latest material. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Ludacris is just one of many new artists on the chart. Coming in second, with 112,000 copies, was the animated band the Gorillaz, with their album Plastic Beach. The two new albums pushed Lady Antebellum’s album, Need You Now, down to number 3, and welcomed the new Jimi Hendrix compilation album, Valleys of Neptune, onto the charts at number 4, selling 95,000 copies.
The debut of Gary Allan’s new album, Get Off on the Pain, came in at number 5 with 65,000 copies sold, pushing Sade down to number 6, after the bands past few weeks at the top. Next at number 7 is the collaboration band Broken Bells, selling 49,000 copies of their new self-titled album. Lady Gaga’s Fame was set at number 8 and sold 47,000, followed by Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D. at number 9 with 43,000 copies, and Blake Shelton’s Hillybilly Bone ending the top 10 selling 28,000 copies. Lets see how long Luda can hold his spot, knowing him, he can keep it hyped.
