Madonna is the Most Listened in UK

According to PPL, a music licensing company, Madonna has been named #1 most listened to artist in UK, beating the Beatles into second, and Robbie Williams into third. Who would have thought an American woman could beat out two of the UK’s most widely known artists? The chart was made based on plays of the artists from 2000 to 2009, including the amount of times they’ve been played on TV, radio, and the numerous public places that have certain music on repeat.
