Nas Can’t Afford Kelis

In most the most recent news involving Nas and Kelis’ court problems, it seems Nas is receiving the short end of the stick, and is having some problems affording the money owed.
The original amounts that Nas had to pay,
$87,000 in back spousal and child support, and $10,000 a month, was said to be based on Nas’ income of about $152,000 that he makes per month. However, according to the rapper and documents obtained by TMZ, Nas claims he makes “substantially less than that amount”, and is proving that maybe Kelis is asking too much out of him at once. With too much being expected out of him, Nas’ lawyer, Marc Vincent Kaplan, is asking the judge to re-evaluate the amounts and hopefully lower them to better suit the rapper.
