Tila Tequila Gets Rocks Thrown At Her, Takes Top Off, Poop Thrown Instead

Juggalos cannot catch a break. Of course, they haven’t done too much to defend themselves from the horrible accusations made that they love to involve themselves in murder, assault and gruesome acts of violence. A few bad apples spoil the entire bunch. Of course, these few bad apples are incredibly bad and they make everyone involved in the “Horrorcore” scene look like lunatics.
The most recent incident involving the fans of the Insane Clown Posse, known as Juggalos, happened the weekend of August 12 thru 15 at the 11th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois when fans assaulted Tila Tequila — of Tila Tequila shameless self-promotion fame.
While Tequila was performing — why was she performing for the Juggalos? — a few audience members started throwing rocks at Tequila. Some of the rocks actually hit Tequila in the face causing a few massive cuts. Pictures were later posted to TMZ. According to some media reports, fans even threw human feces at Tequila during the set. Who knows what Tequila did to upset the crowd, but it must have truly set them off — since they physically took human shit from porta-potties to throw at her.
Tequila thought she could stop the assault by taking her top off. This apparently enraged the crowd even more.
It’s now being reported that Tequila wasn’t the only performer who had rocks thrown at them, and that Method Man also was hit by rocks during his performance with Redman. The Juggalos must not have liked How High.
ICP member Violent J later told TMZ that he spoke with Tequila before the incident and warned her that she may be attacked. “We told her about the rumor and she didn’t care. We paid her before the show and assured her that even if things got out of hand, she could keep the money if she had to leave the stage.”
Here is a bit of wisdom for Ms. Tequila. If a guy named VIOLENT J tells you that you might be attacked, take his advice and DO NOT PERFORM! How did Tequila not know what she was getting into? The Juggalos only receive bad press — just like Tila Tequila. The festival is put on by Psychopathic Records, and features plenty of artists in the “Horrorcore” scene.
Here are some of the acts who performed at the most recent festival: Psychopathic Rydas, Above The Law, Brotha Lynch Hung, Kung Fu Vampire, Prozak, Psychostick, V Sinizter, and Vanilla Ice. Yes, Vanilla Ice is a staple at this festival.
But come on Tila. Read some of the names of the performers. We’re not saying that the performers are violent, and we are not saying that Juggalos are violent — even though there were several acts of Juggalo on Juggalo violence like a stabbing at the festival — but swallow your pride and acknowledge that performing at the festival was a bad idea.
Whether or not Tequila made the mistake of performing, the fact that a mob of Juggalos assaulting her will do nothing but tarnish their already poor image. A Maxim article recently profiled a Juggalo who murdered several of his Juggalo friends and co-workers for the sheer fun of it. NBC had an episode of Law and Order with a similar theme. Even SNL poked fun at the annual Gathering of the Juggalos with their parody, “The Kickspit Underground Underground Rock Festival,” where “Everyone Gets Pitchforks!”
The Juggalos have become an easy target for people who think music inspires violence. It’s pretty hard to defend this idea when acts of violence happen at music festivals like this one — even if that violence happens to Tila Tequila.
